Helllooooo London

Time for a change! I've been working at United Way now for just over a year and a half and with things changing all the time, I thought I'd see my United Way path send me westward to London. Since the beginning of December I've been learning how to work from home while living in a new city, almost twice as large as Belleville with over 7 times the population.

It wouldn't have been such a different situation except for the welcome wagon of snow the first week I arrived:


Compared to Bellevegas and all the cities along the 401, I felt like I'd been living in Alaska for the last month. Despite the cold however, I've been able to hunker down and work away on our upcoming events.

This year our Achievement celebration is taking place at the Empire Theatre Thursday, January 20th and our North Hastings Warehouse Sale is Saturday,February 5th at the Bancroft Public Works Yard.
